About Meowhaus

Whether your cat is a snuggler or a more independent soul, we'll make sure they have everything they need to feel happy and relaxed. Our carefully considered fit-out has been designed with our boarders’ comfort and safety in mind, and our suite sizes are among the biggest in Melbourne. We haven’t forgotten about our human clients either! We want to keep things uncomplicated for you, with generous opening hours and a simple pricing structure, all backed up by years of experience in the industry.

Meowhaus cattery is the lifelong dream of owner, Rhianne, who has two decades of experience working in catteries and the veterinary industry. Rhianne brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her beloved feline guests. Not only does she provide top-notch care for our guests, she also has her hands full at home as a long-term foster carer for local cat rescue groups. Being a staunch advocate for rescue animals, her own adopted family includes Alfie the Devon Rex, Leo the Domestic Long Hair (who is an internet celebri-cat in his own right!), Debra the Great Dane, and Rocky the Mastiff cross. Rhianne's dedication to feline welfare and her commitment to providing exceptional care means you will often see her when visiting Meowhaus. As the business owner, she’ll be on-site day-to-day, covered in fur, getting to know your cat!

The rest of our team are also cat owners and/or foster carers, and an important element of our philosophy means the Meowhaus crew will always be kept small. We want both our clients and our guests to be looked after by a familiar face every visit. From dietary requirements, to exercise routines, to which body part is the favourite spot for scratches, we take the time to get to know your cat and their preferences!
